New Zealand alternative-pop outfit PARK RD have announced second album Boyhood for November 13 alongside an extensive seven-city tour across Australia and New Zealand. The eleven-track record follows a period of considerable change for Tom, Leo, TK and Carlos, who relocated to Sydney earlier in 2026 and began building deep connections within the Australasian indie pop community.
Boyhood explores the uncertain territory between adolescence and adulthood, drawing on the musicians' experiences of leaving familiar surroundings and attempting to establish themselves somewhere new. Earlier singles "English Boy" and "Fatal," the latter featuring Molly Millington, introduce a lighter indie-pop direction influenced by artists including The 1975, Ryan Beatty and Fontaines D.C. Another single, "Floodlights," is scheduled for October 9, making today's announcement focused on the full album campaign.
The tour begins in Brisbane on November 13 before visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland. Since arriving in Australia, PARK RD have supported acts including Pacific Avenue, San Cisco and No Cigar while continuing to develop their energetic live sound. Growing up is confusing enough without relocating countries; at least PARK RD have turned the experience into an album.
